Audi Builds 500,000th A1 in Brussels, Makes Model's Popularity Official

The Audi A1 is probably the only other car on the market that can rival the likes of the MINI Cooper. In fact, the appearance of the A1 Sportback may have even been the reason behind MINI’s decision to launch a five door model.

Now, some four years after it went into production, the model has reached the half-a-million produced mark.
